Today, I ventured over to Green String Farms to hopefully gather a few fava
beans. They are usually in season now so my fingers were crossed to scoop some
tasty favas for a hummus I enjoy making.
"Favas are coming, next week" I was told. But to my amazement, fava greens were out, freshly picked asparagus, (get out) was there along with
broccoli flowers, leeks, baby artichokes, sunchokes and beets. What a glorious day!!
