Balancing Act with Hydration and Electrolytes During Travel



Many of us fly hundreds of miles each year to visit family, work or discovering a new destination. If you haven’t experienced jet lag on a long flight, you might consider yourself lucky. Jet lag is associated with dehydration. Dehydration during long flights contributes to headaches, leg cramps, indigestion and much more. All experts insist drinking water is the answer, but there is another side of the issue. Electrolytes play a huge role in hydration and without them, jet lag can worsen.
